 Congratulations to Ginger Maddox on her newly earned AICP! 

Ginger Maddox is the Planning Division Manager for the City of Hattiesburg. She has been with the City of Hattiesburg since 2013.  She has experience engaging with the community and influencing the built environment through non-profit, private, and governmental agencies. As the Planning Manager for the City of Hattiesburg her work focuses on land-use planning, site plan review, code implementation, and citizen education. She received a Master of Urban & Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to now being an AICP member, she is a Certified Floodplain Manager and an active member of the Mississippi Chapter of the American Planning Association, serving as the secretary of the Executive Committee. She is currently serving as a board member of the Pearl & Leaf Rivers Rails-to-Trails Recreational District, she is on the Economic Restructuring committee of the Hattiesburg Historic Downtown Association, and a technical committee member of the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
