The Mississippi Chapter of the American Planning Association is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Chapter Awards. Nominations for this year are for the following categories:
Mississippi Mod Squad (2018 new award category)
Best Project/Outstanding Project – Large Area/Regional or Small Town/Rural.
Planning Advocate
Public Outreach
Outstanding Planning Commissioner
Nominators may not submit more than one nomination per award category. Award descriptions, eligibility criteria and submission guidelines are included for each category.
The deadline for receipt of nominations with support documentation is 12 Midnight on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Late submissions will not be accepted. Changes will not be allowed after the submission deadline. Award winners will be notified of the Awards Committee’s decision no later than Wednesday, October 3rd. Winners will be recognized and presented with an award at the MS-AL Annual Conference Awards Luncheon on Thursday, October 11, 2018.
